The portfolio uses live text, self-hosted type and examples from the projects themselves. The Learning Café is a theme for Sarah’s design practice; the companies and workplace cases in the samples are fictional.

How this work is made

My contribution is learning design, content and visual direction, language review, and revision. I use AI to support drafting, critique, artwork and interface development across these samples. That includes the café illustration, portfolio-created project visuals and interactive functionality. The expert roles in Fieldwell and RelayWorks are simulated; they are not human SME reviews or client endorsements.

Portfolio typography

Headlines use Newsreader; body text uses Instrument Sans. Both are distributed under the SIL Open Font License. The Northline reference and Before Opening prototype use Hanken Grotesk as part of their separate sample identity.

Classroom projects

The classroom product excerpts and accompanying HTML experiences come from my Linguistic Lanterns materials.

Before Opening & Northline

The scenario artwork, screen study and job-aid preview were created for this portfolio. The case-study image is actual published Storyline output. The earlier screen study remains a design artifact. The course and the separate HTML prototype are identified on the case page.

Prioritize Your Workload

The matrix and workflow graphics come from the course’s own project materials. The cover photograph is from Articulate’s Content Library; the decorative desk illustrations were created for the sample.

Write a Useful Support Ticket

Interface illustrations and video panels depict the fictional PulseDesk sample. The workplace photograph is by Ivan S / Pexels, selected through Articulate’s Content Library.

Meeting Clarity

The project artwork, proposal-and-decision diagram and decision record were created for this sample. The course cover photograph is by Theo Decker / Pexels, selected through Articulate’s Content Library. The case study also includes an actual native Rise preview.

Fieldwell product learning

The planter cutaway, setup illustrations and paper-wick analogy are SVG artwork created for this sample. No product photograph or manufacturer diagram is reproduced. The lesson links its general scientific background sources; they do not endorse or validate the invented product.

Learning Café artwork

The book-and-café illustration is custom artwork for the homepage. Its overhead sign and book titles connect the café theme to learning design. Café photographs are retained in the source archive. The photographs are by Tai Bui and note thanun, used under the Unsplash License without generative edits.

Small Worlds portal scenes

The Internado boarding-school and Andes mountain scenes were extracted from Sarah’s existing Linguistic Lanterns HTML demos for use in the homepage portals. The standalone SVGs preserve the original illustrations; presentation and animation classes and scripts were removed. The Before Opening portal uses existing project imagery. Portal shapes and accents are layout treatments, not new generated scenes.
